We were very happy that on April 28, 2022 we were able to organize a girls ‘and Boys’ Day at the Egelsbach location for the first time since the beginning of Corona Pandemie.

8 participants were represented, consisting of 3 girls and 5 boys. For this occasion, our trainees thought a program to make the day interesting and varied for the kids. After a short introductory round in the morning, our trainees showed the young visitors our location. Then the groups divided.

The girls got to know working methods and machines in production and in the warehouse. The practice was not neglected either, because they were able to design different stickers on the PC, which were then printed on our machines. During the later visit to the camp, they were for our customers and packed them to prepare them for the goods outcome. The highlight was an insert with an electric lifting car that required a little height of a must to pick goods from the high shelves. The girls had a lot of fun and were able to gain a good insight into the everyday working life of a media technologist and specialist maker.

Girls Tag & Boys' Day 2022The boys discovered the world of marketing. Here they got an insight into the functional of online search engines and their applications. Afterwards, each of them was able to design their own newsletter with self -selected motifs and by supporting the specialist department. Of course, everyone was allowed to take home the results of their work and present their families. The feedback was consistently positive and the day was a lot of fun for the boys. Some of the participants even expressed that they could imagine working later as a media designer.

Girls Tag & Boys' Day 2022Conclusion: The day at Brady liked the young participants very much. Through the insight into everyday work, they were able to gain many new experiences that help them in their professional orientation.
