According to BHE Bundesverband Sicherheitstechnik EV, the sixth edition of the practical guide on August 29, 2025 offers fire alarm technology well-founded knowledge of technology, planning and legal basics. The association emphasizes that fire alarm systems are registered by their detectors at a very early stage and thus enable rapid aid measures.

According to the publisher, the publication is aimed at specialist planners, builders and operators of fire alarm systems. The guide is intended to serve as a reliable tool and contain checklists, planning aids and concrete practical tips. According to the BHE, the preparation takes place in a practical and user -friendly manner.

New chapters on insect infestation and norms

According to BHE, the current edition deals with the topic of “false alarms through insect infestation” for the first time. In addition, the new template of the DIN standard committee fire brigade (FNFW) for a fire alarm and alarm concept (BMAK) was recorded.

The association states that due to current changes in the area of ​​the remote alarm, the information on various transmission paths has been extensively revised. All norms have been completely updated.

In addition to the innovations, the guide contains detailed explanations on individual components of fire alarm systems as well as an overview of relevant regulations and legal basics. It is therefore also dealt with topics such as distance access, lightning and overvoltage protection, the inclusion of fire alarm systems to the fire brigade and interfaces to other safety systems.

Also available digitally for the first time
